| I've loved winter eversince I was a kid |
I can enjoy sitting in the sun, but I absolutely love wondering around when it’s snowing. It’s not that I’m a huge fan of cold, but I sure do like snow. Now that winter has hit the Netherlands, I’m as happy as a kid!
I don’t know what it is, but everything seems so magical when it’s covered with a white layer of snow. Of course, snow is no fun when it gets slippery and causes a lot of trouble for traffic, but the fun part makes up for a lot.
When I was younger, you could always find me outside making snowmen, snow angels and having snowball fights with the other kids. Come to think of it, I never stopped doing this. I’m out there every year!

The other thing that I like to do is ice skating. I’m not as good at it as I used to be, but I can still manage to move forward ;-) There’s something about skating on a frozen lake close to your house. It's just more fulfilling than going to an ice-skate court. I ordered a new pair of ice skates yesterday, can’t wait for them to arrive. Hopefully it will freeze for quite some time so that I can use them immediately.

People around me are complaining about the cold, snow etc etc. I understand all of this, but my tip for everybody is to embrace it. Once you do, you can enjoy the magical side of winter!!
